Our story
We’re two sisters who wished this process existed for us.
When our mother passed, we navigated the same complex journey that many of you do. We were living on opposite coasts, and found ourselves flying back to our childhood home every few weeks to manage estate sale companies, donation organizations, handymen, dumpster rentals, photo archivists, real estate brokers, and event planners — all to get the home ready for sale.
We wanted to honor our mother’s wishes and preserve our own memories, while working with the practical constraints of our own lives. Through a mixture of trial-and-error and our network of experts, we learned how some of the smallest decisions made the biggest impact for emotional reward, effectiveness, and value.
We started Keepwell to help others navigate this complex situation with structure, expertise, and services so that clients can focus on what matters most during this time.
